Build a fruit assortment by format, not only color
A practical fruit range can combine familiar standalone shapes such as strawberry, watermelon, blueberry, peach and avocado with character hybrids such as Strawberry Duck or Watermelon Deer. The standalone shapes create an easy-to-read shelf story; the hybrids add novelty without forcing the whole order into one visual style.
Keep each silhouette as its own SKU in the purchase sheet. A 15 cm strawberry, a 22 cm watermelon and a six-style large-fruit assortment have different unit weights and carton plans, so a mixed order should state the intended quantity and pack for every item.
Compare filling and squeeze behavior before choosing the price tier
Most current full-size fruit entries use a TPR skin with flour filling, while the Fruit Cube uses maltose gel. Those constructions should not be presented as the same tactile experience. Ask for samples from each material group and compare squeeze resistance, reshaping, seams, odor and surface finish.
The public EXW unit price is a useful shortlist reference, but carton volume and unit weight can change the landed-cost ranking. Compare the written carton data alongside the unit price before deciding which fruit shapes deserve the largest reorder allocation.
Merchandise for gift shops and online product pages
Fruit shapes are recognizable without long product education, which can help gift-shop displays and thumbnail-led online listings. Use a consistent photo scale, state the actual dimensions and avoid implying that similarly photographed products have the same size.
For short-video testing, record recovery, hand scale and packaging separately. Select factual visual demonstrations that match the approved sample; do not reuse one squeeze claim across flour-filled and gel-filled products.
Prepare the packaging and reorder brief
Send the product URLs, SKU codes, target quantity per shape, destination country, barcode needs and preferred retail pack. If a mixed display is required, define whether the style ratio is equal, random or buyer-selected.
Approve the individual pack and final carton configuration before bulk production. Packaging changes can alter pieces per carton, dimensions and gross weight, so the dated quotation should identify the exact version used for freight planning.
