Send the six facts that turn an inquiry into an export quote

For a faster importer quote, send the commercial facts first. Ruiwo can then confirm the exact SKU, packing and export assumptions instead of repeating the same questions over chat.

Step 1: Define your squishy toy requirements

Start with a written product brief before comparing suppliers. Record the product type or reference SKU, target size, material or filling direction, colors, intended sales channel, destination market, quantity and unit packaging. Use the in-stock wholesale catalog for current SKUs, or the custom OEM page when the project needs logo, color, filling, packaging or a new shape. Reference photos are useful, but ask the supplier to identify the exact product version being quoted.

Separate must-have requirements from preferences. Safety, labeling, barcode space, carton limits and buyer SKU identity may be mandatory, while colors, assortment ratios or gift-box style may still be adjustable.

Step 2: Find and verify a real supplier

Confirm who is responsible for the order: manufacturer, trading company or sourcing coordinator. Ask for current product media, business details, sample evidence and the company name connected to relevant production or testing records. A useful supplier should be able to explain what it controls directly and what is handled by supporting partners.

If your main question is how to judge factory reliability, use the dedicated reliable squishy toy manufacturer checklist. This page keeps the broader sourcing process separate from supplier-verification criteria.

Step 3: Request samples before bulk production

Use the same scorecard for every sample. Check dimensions, weight, surface finish, seam condition, odor, filling, squeeze resistance, recovery, decoration, packaging and visible defects. If you need a mixed reference set before bulk ordering, use the squishy toy sample box. Photograph the approved sample and keep it connected to the quotation or purchase record.

If the displayed sample does not use the same material, color or package planned for mass production, request a production-equivalent sample or written confirmation before approval.

Step 4: Confirm material, quality and packaging

Write the approved construction and filling into the order record instead of relying on a product nickname. Use the PU vs TPR vs flour-filled material guide to compare construction and filling terms. Confirm unit packaging, inserts, barcode or label position, warning or market information, assortment ratio and any artwork version that will be used.

For Ruiwo orders, the approved sample and written specification are the practical reference points for production follow-up. See the quality-control checklist for the inspection items buyers can define before shipment.

Step 5: Confirm MOQ, price and lead time

Compare quotations on the same commercial basis. Record the exact SKU, quantity tier, packaging included, sample or artwork charges, production timing, trade term and what logistics services are or are not included. A lower unit price is not automatically the lower landed cost.

If the buying intent is primarily commercial—current styles, MOQ, bulk order planning and factory supply—use the Wholesale Squishy Toys from China page rather than treating this sourcing guide as a catalog.

Step 6: Start production and track progress

After the sample, artwork and order data are approved, production should follow the agreed version. Useful order updates are practical rather than decorative: whether production has started, whether a material or packaging change needs approval, and whether the expected packing or completion date has changed.

Ruiwo can keep the buyer updated through the production and packing stages so routine order questions do not require several separate contacts. The manufacturing and order-fulfillment page shows the current factory-to-handoff workflow.

Step 7: QC, packing and carton information

Before freight is arranged, confirm the finished packing condition and the shipment data needed by the buyer or forwarder. This normally includes pieces per carton, carton count, carton dimensions and gross weight after the actual packing method is finalized.

If a packaging change affects carton volume or weight, refresh the freight estimate instead of relying on an earlier calculation.

Step 8: Coordinate the freight-forwarder handoff

If you already have a freight forwarder or logistics warehouse in China, send Ruiwo the forwarder contact details. We can contact the forwarder directly, confirm the receiving address and routine warehouse handoff requirements, arrange China-side delivery of the packed goods, and keep you updated on the handoff. You do not need to manage the routine back-and-forth between the factory and forwarder yourself.

International freight, customs clearance, duties, taxes and destination delivery are included only when they are specifically confirmed in the quotation. This keeps the service scope clear while still giving the buyer one practical contact for the China-side order flow.

Step 9: Review real wholesale order examples

A sourcing process is easier to evaluate when buyers can see how actual orders were handled. Review Ruiwo’s customer stories for examples of production coordination, packing, urgent-order support and shipment handoff, and use the factory page for current workshop and production evidence.

Real photos and order records support supplier verification, but they do not replace SKU-specific sample approval or destination-market compliance checks.

Step 10: Use a repeatable sourcing checklist

Before payment or bulk approval, make sure the file contains the exact product or SKU, approved sample reference, quantity, packaging, artwork version, market requirements, price basis, lead time, inspection plan, carton-data requirement and agreed logistics handoff.

For repeat orders, compare the new purchase against the approved reference instead of starting from screenshots or chat history alone. A controlled record makes supplier communication faster and reduces avoidable misunderstandings.
